Menu Selection and Guarantees
Menu selections are due no later than ten days prior to the event. A final guarantee is due seven days prior to the event. Guarantees are not subject to reduction.
Alcoholic Beverages
Beer and Wine may be purchased through Dish Catering Company (Z Dish, Inc.) or you may obtain a One Day Special Event license from the Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) and provide your own alcohol. The license may be purchased, paid for, and downloaded online. The license MUST be applied for 14 business days prior to the event.
Rentals
Linens are available for an additional fee upon request. Rentals, i.e. specialty items such as champagne flutes, dance floor, and lighting are also available for additional fees upon request.
Service and Labor Charges
* Additional labor fees will be charged on all food and beverage sales.
* All pricing is subject to an 18% service and gratuity charge and current Virginia state sales and city meal taxes.
* A $150 per bartender fee for the event.
* For A la Carte service a $100 carver fee will apply per attendant.
Payment Requirements
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the estimated total invoice is required at the time of booking of any food and beverage event. An additional 25% of the balance is due 30 days prior to the event. The final balance is due seven (7) days prior to the event. The following forms of payment are accepted seven (7) in advance of the event: cash, local personal or company check, cashier’s check, or MasterCard/Visa credit cards. Less than seven (7) prior to an event, payment, payment must be cash, cashier’s check, or MasterCard/Visa. All payments must be in U.S. funds.
Cancellations
Should a food and beverage event be cancelled less than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date, 50% of the total invoice is due to Dish Catering Company. Dish Catering Company reserves the right to conclude alcoholic beverage service at any time during an event.
